Having the few days in Venice after disembarking from the ship was great. We were able to do our site seeing at a leisurely pace. We walked several kilometres every day enjoying the atmosphere of this unique, vibrant city. We visited Murano & Burano islands. We really enjoyed Burano with its colourful homes.

Zadar, Croatia
The final day of our cruise was spent in Zadar. It is best known for its Roman & Venetian ruins. We listened to an amazing sea organ which plays music through the action of the waves and tubes located underneath large marble steps. We loved every minute of our cruise and enjoyed the warm weather.

Kotor, Montenegro
Kotor was a very picturesque destination. We arrived early in the morning to thunder & lightning, but it had cleared by the time we boarded the tender. The old city is enclosed by a wall built by the Venetians. We climbed over 1000 steps up to the fortress in the afternoon and it was very hot.
We also took a two hour private tour by car which was excellent except for the heavy rain that fell when we were in the old town of Budva, causing flash flooding.

Mykonos, Greece
Mykonos was great. We wandered the narrow, cobbled streets, soaking up the local atmosphere. We took a boat to Delos Island, one of the most significant excavated sites of Ancient Greece & the birthplace of Apollo.
In the afternoon we took a bus to Super Paradise beach where we again swam in beautiful, clear water. We are pleased we are travelling at this time of year because mid summer must be so crowded.
