Amalfi Coast

Yesterday unfortunately began very overcast. We took the hotel shuttle into Praiano village. We were soon caught in heavy rain with a thunderstorm but were able to shelter in the church of San Gennaro built in 1589.  We took a local bus to Positano, 10 kilometres on and luckily the skies cleared, the sun came out and it was warm. Positano was very vibrant, described as a vertical town with houses built on the steep cliffs. We are pleased it is Spring not summer as we can imagine how crowded it must
become.
