Alicante - Altea - Milan

After the hectic week at the Table Tennis we drove to Altea, an hour's drive north. We stopped at beaches along the way and our hotel was right on the beach, which however was stony, so the pool was a good option. We really enjoyed walking through the quaint old town of Altea. Cobbled streets wound up the hillside to the Nuestra Senora del Consuelo church at the top. From Altea we drove further north to Denia before returning to Alicante.
We had a 4.30am pick up for the airport the next day for our flight to Milan.
In Milan we did a tour of the Duomo cathedral and also a rooftop tour. It is an amazing structure that took 500 years to build.
